Our entry showcases the purchase and refurbishment of the redundant Children’s Centre in Hersden, which we have proudly gifted to Hersden Under 5’s

This £350,000 project – delivered entirely outside of S.106 commitments – has enabled the village nursery and vital community resource to:

• Save £15,000 per year in rent
• Save £3,500 per year in energy costs
• Increase capacity to support more local families
• Create new staff and apprenticeship opportunities
• Better support parents returning to employment
