Quinn Estates comes to the aid of Ladybirds Pre-School in Littlebourne

When the Ladybirds Pre-School in Littlebourne needed help with the refurbishment of their school building, they faced a challenge in getting everything done in time for the new term.

With the help of Canterbury based property developer Quinn Estates those problems flew away with the team offering their services for free to get the work done.

Carol Childs, Pre-School Manager at Ladybirds, said: “We approached Quinn Estates for help and were delighted that they were able to support us. It was a really tight deadline as all the work had to be done in the summer holidays.

“The team at Quinn Estates went over and above what we were expecting. It was such a pleasure to walk in the building and see what had been done. We were so impressed with the work. The workmen even went the extra mile to help get all the furniture back in place once everything had been completed.”

Quinn Estates provided free labour and contributed a third of the costs of a refurbishment that included new insulation, flooring, electric heaters and a new coat of paint.

Mark Quinn, Chairman and CEO Quinn Estates, said: “Over the years I have had pleasure in supporting the Littlebourne community including providing equipment for the gardening club and sponsoring Littlebourne Youth FC and Cricket Club. As a local resident, I was eager to help the pre-school who do so much to make Littlebourne such a fantastic place to live.

“I am delighted with the dedication that my construction team put in to deliver this project swiftly and to such a high standard. We have already heard positive feedback from parents and staff which all of us at Quinn Estates are really proud to hear.”
