East Stour Park

The scheme involves the creation of circa 300 apartments located within a short walk of Ashford International Train Station.

The site forms part of the wider Canal District area of Ashford where Quinn Estates are major landowners and where the vision includes new housing, commercial and leisure facilities set amongst vast new areas of ecological enhancements and publicly accessible green space.

Working with key stakeholders including Ashford Borough Council, Kent Highways and the Environment Agency, this scheme can mirror the success of Riverside Park and provide:

• Over 150 construction jobs a year
• £16m into the local economy a year from the new housing
• £40m a year of economic output in the construction phase

Designed by the RIBA award winning architect Guy Holloway, East Stour Park is being modelled as a design exemplar that sets a tone of quality and innovation for the rest of the Canal District to follow, thus creating a modern and exciting extension to Ashford.
